Well Im sick of updating about sickness as Im sure you are all sick of reading it!!! But well thats all I've got peeps...And to throw more at that I have had a medical drama with myself this week requiring a trip to hospital..Its unrealted to previous injury and still waiting on more test results and things but I'm quiet scared and in alot of pain.So again going as quickly as I can on these,but right now I really am worried about me...So just wanted to update ppl as I'm not answering emails as often as ppl might like you just have no idea how hard everything is right now,with all sick kids my self with rotten flu and now this on top of it :(..

Am working my you know what off currently *trying* to get on top of these orders..As you know they are delayed due to recent dramas here.. I was on a roll the last few days was hopful to get huge lot out early this week - today,but unfortunatly the drama continues and I've had the wind knocked outta my sail yet again now with me unwell with what the kids have had
:( ..They were on the improve or so I thought..After what has been awful weekend with not much sleep for dh and I, we spent most of sunday at the dr its now looking 99% sure little ds (whos had surgery already)now has to have more :( And other ds who wasn't sick is really sick arghhh it never rains just pours,so very woe is me atm our family just cant catch a break,ad I really wanna know why me :(..I will however soldier on feeling seriously like death warmed up but am determined to get on top of these..So hoping end of week/early next week a huge lot ready for posting..Again can I say a HUGE thankyou all for your concern and understanding with all of this,its very appreciated and I am working as quick as I can!

Well dont worry about work is so much easier said than done :( Orders pilling up everywhere and arrgggh me still not 100% and 3 very sick littlies :( Dh wanted to take me away for my Bday on friday,but that won't be happening as Im going to be chained to my sewing for the weekend..So Those with orders well YES I am now behind thanks to this recent dramas,please bear with me I am going as quick as humanly possible,I am also not online much as I can't get any sewing done if I am .I would love to click my fingers and have the magic sewing fairy come and sew up a storm for me to be on top of it all, but well it doesnt work this way.

On another note...

I had a special request for a rather large order a few mths ago,I don't like doing large orders (to stressful for me on my own,as everything seems to pop up and go wrong whenever i do,lol) so intially said no..But they kinda wouldnt take no for an answer so I eventually caved and agreed,I have a problem saying NO to ppl,lol..Anyway I have had to cancel this BIG order,as ppl wanting this order sadly did the wrong thing by me and I just don't have time to continue to be stuffed around chasing up payments etc,it saddens me as I have spent hours on this,I dont have spare hours I am a mum of 4 littlies currently with alot of work :( And I was hesitant to do it in the beggining,sadly I will know next time :(..Anyway long story short I have alot of nappies here now (gorgeous designs I might add) made sitting here with no place to go,I was thinking I will take a big group pic and list them on FB and ppl can lmk via there if they would like to purchase them? WDYT??

Just quickly thank you for your thoughts everyone..Still in awful pain,I will know better in future to ask for help instead of contantly thinking I am wonderwoman and can do eveything(*BLUSH*) and could of killed myself home alone here with my 2 bubbas
:(,so stupid of me.. I wish all customers were as understanding as most of you with me being out of action for a while...I am right handed & Currently Im typing left and its hard as I am so un co with my left for everything) and its my right side thats hurt,I can't lift my right arm without sending terrible pain to my ribs that makes me loose my breath its so painful, so theres not alot I can do about this right now..But please know I feel awful for delay,the timing of this couldn't be worse for us,not just for my nappies but dh has sooo much on atm with work and this added pressure we really didn't need..I have however got dh on posting duty so the orders I had ready will leave here early this week..

I am posting this for my wife I have had to come home to get her to the drs urgently.She has pulled ligaments in her right upper back around her ribs and is in ALOt of pain trying to breathe let alone trying to do anything else.Dr has told her to do nothing for a wk and then she will review her on fri(eg:NO WORK!!! ) So this can repair itself as we really can't have it getting any worse.Its going to be hard enough caring for the kids,she is right handed also esp the littlest as she can not pick him up or drive or anything and I am unable to get any time off work right now,so this is going to prove pretty tricky and stressful..She was worried about all her ladies with orders and her being offline etc and wanted me to post this but it was too long on the FB so I moved to here to her blog..

Am loving some of your unique ideas,keep them coming :) Some customers have supplied some of there own fabrics for bands and these beautiful fabrics have begun to arrive at my door, getting ready for the next wave of customs I am to begin..I am waiting on labels that should of arrived by now so more customs are close to completion and will be leaving here as soon as they arrive..

Ahhh havn't I been a busy lil bee,lol..Here's a sneaky peak at the next lot I have completed.If you don't see yours here don't panic as it won't be far away and will be done in the next lot I begin.These are ready to go and will leave here first thing tomorrow...I will now begin the next lot, all going well these will be with everyone within there Estimated times you would have been given when placing your custom orders :)

There are some totally yummy looking fluffies here,I hope the new owners will love them as much as I do :)

Heres a peak at whats been keeping me busy 24/7,lol.Theres some beautiful ones there and hope there new owners will be loving them aswell,hoping they are all at there new homes by now :). I still have soooo many customs to get through..I thought since I have so many requests constantly but never have the time to say yes,I would try doing just customs for a while with the odd random listing...Well it was going ok,BUT as soon as somthing unplanned happens in a BIG family it just throws everything outta whack,this is where I find myself now..Majorly stressing bigtime,my best Intentions turn to crap,unfortunatly!I am hoping everything may be settling down for us now so I can try get through these..CGR Design is only me,a 1 woman show so please bear with me as we have had a pretty bad run of luck firstly with our Little man requiring surgery,our recent flooding incident,that I lost a fair portion of my fabrics too and more recently a family emergency with my nan.As they say it never rains it only pours and this seems to be Ohh so true for our family unfortunatly! I am emotionly and physically exhausted and feel as though I'm coming down with this rotten bug currently passing through our house..Anyway just know I am going as quickly as I can with these, I am working on the next 10 orders as I type,then once they are complete and shipped I will start the next 10 and so on..So hoping all going well I should just sneak them all in there specified time frames or maybe a little over..Please note lead time begins ONCE full payment and selections are recieved..Well better get back to it,as they say there is NO rest for the wicked...

Well after what has been a really full on few weeks,we moved house for the second time in 6mths...All whilst having 4 children on school holidays *eek*..2 of the little munchkins are back to school this week thankfully,it will do us all the world of good to get some normal routines back in place..Anyway in amongst all the mayhem,i have managed to get some creative juices flowing(staying up very late at night to do so,lol) yet again and have a really nice stocking ready,these will be avail tonight around 9pm - sydney time...Hope you can join me :)

Wow what a year! CGR DESIGN is closed yay finally a break,lol..Those still with customs these will be out in early january in amongst us moving house.Just wanting to Thank ALL our fabulous customers for your continued support throughout the yrs.And wish you all a Wonderful Christmas & hoping 2010 is an amazing year for everyone(I know our family will be glad to see the end of 2009),there has to be a better yr ahead for us...Now its time to kick back,relax and enjoy some really special family time over the holidays...So from our family to yours, xXx Merry Christmas Everyone xXx ....

BAD TIMING - Sewing Machine Seized! :(

Argggghhh what bad timing....As per usual heaps going on in the CGR family its school holidays...AND now the sewing machine has seized :( I was on a really good roll,all (non christmas customs) were nearing completion for packing and its died so im 95% finished them all...Arrgggg....Off to the sewing machine dr this morning in hope it can be fixed pretty easily or at all...ekkkk! Fingers crossed it can be!

So those waiting patiently on your customs i do apologise, but this is what seems to happen everytime i agree to do more customs...It's like i finally cave say yes to the requests and everything here turns upside down eg,alot of sickness with the kids esp ds latest pnemonia (sp?) :( This is why i really don't like to do them i place soo much pressure on myself and i get really stressed as i am right now :(

Well already nearing end of sept..This is a really busy/exciting time of year as its our Miss Georgias end of year concert, it is always held the last weekend of sept..In preperation for this we have endless fittings,photo & dress/stage rehersals leading to the big day..Needless to say for all this to happen i'm pretty busy with everything atm,and not home let alone online very much either..So if there are delays in emails etc,this is why...

All i can remember lately in our house is someone sick!! Am over it ,really i am.It was dh and 2 littlest and now its our 2 biggest kidlets :( & me (and its knocked me for a six,i gotta say).Just the lovely seasonal colds and crap add some ear infections and a chest infec just for good measure...Each morning i hope to wake feeling better but it hasn't happened yet,sigh...

Anyway
Life goes on in our busy busy house, and as they say no rest for the wicked,that being me...so

All 27th August stocking orders have left the building,theres a few hangers on still here so please pay, so yours can be on its way too...Also custom slot winners please get your preferences to me ,i really need to begin on these otherwise i end up totally swamped and i don't need to to be..

I'm stocking my store Thursday 13 August @ 8.30pm (syd time) with some adorable applique & embroided AI2's ,mainly larges for this stocking. I will slowly get previews up today and tomorrow.I've been aiming to stock each fortnight and so far so good,but i do ask for payments to be made immediatly,as this makes the postage process much quicker..I still have two nappies here from 2 stockings ago,i have emailed the 2 customers several times as i need more address details..Please check your inbox & spam folders as these nappies really want to get to there rightful owners :)

This is a pic of our gorgeous Coop just 2 weeks ago,he had adorable little teeth....

Our Adventurous real little 3yr old boy has given us yet another fright of our life, beleive me there have been many frights since he turned 2..Our Super Cooper decided it would be good to be the adventurer that he is,and climb a 5/6 ft arched trellis in our back yard...Unfortunatly it wasnt a good idea and he fell face first...He's a face and mouth are a real mess,we are hoping he has saved some teeth,but still too soon to tell.. :(

A Random Stocking - Thurs 23 July

I have had alot of emails from ppl with slow internet connections upset that at stockings there system is to slow to nab anything,and with this ppl requesting customs..I'm not taking on any customs atm unfortunatly..So ive decided to do random stockings tomorrow,still a maximum of 2 nappies per person rule applies.Also AP has increased postage prices AGAIN, so i have to pass this increase on also,as it is i wear a fair whack of the registered post price on all orders,so effective immediatly CGR DESIGN posts up to 2 nappies for $7.00 for registered postage to all australian states ... Nappies will be set to live randomly through out the day..Id say not before 10am and not after 3ish as i have an appt..

Previews will be showing tonight somtime..

Goodluck and i hope some newbies get lucky with these random listings!!

A Stocking is Imminent!!

Well now ive finally managed to locate all my machines,snaps fabric etc amongst the boxes from our move,lol..I'm hopeing to have a really nice stocking,some gorgeous ones amongst these if i do say so myself :) Previews hopfully out mid to late this week..I had originally planned to have a big stocking to celebrate our Rhys' 10th b'day - 2nd July,but i just down played in my mind how huge moving house with four kidlets and sickness on top of this was going to prove to be,quite unrealistic of me to say the least,lol!!

Well we are all moved in,still with an abundance of boxes to get unpacked, but with all the kids being so sick its been the last thing i've had time to even think about..It's truly amazing how much stuff is still in boxes and remains un needed,this could be the perfect opportunity to get rid of alot of toys etc.I say i will but its the massive hoarder inside me,that won't allow this to happen :)

On this day 10 yrs ago @ 3.47am a gorgeous baby boy entered the world weighing
6lb 11oz 51.5cm @ 36.5 weeks..It was a rocky few weeks leading to his birth,he was trying to meet us at 30 weeks,lol..We held him off till nearly 37wks,thanks to our quick thinking OB.. And he was and still is just adorable..Happy Birthday our gorgeous first born Rhysie.We are so proud of the great lil man you are and we hope this is an awesome birthday..Love You Always And ever xoxox

Arrrggghhhh what a week!

I've been working on some gorgeous new designs for a while and all going well(everytime i plan somthing lately,somthing else happens!) im hoping to list some Never Before Seen new designs hopfully somtime this weekend.I had hoped to get more made in time but with packing, getting all customs ready and hospital admissons and sick little ones,its just not possible..

This is will be my final stocking for a while as we are moving..There will be a few New Customer Listings(or shall i say NEW CLIENT LISTINGS,LOL) also..

I will be limiting this stocking to max 2 items per person..Please try to be fair so we can spread the CGR Love a little furthur..Also payments will need to be made immediatly so all can be posted by wednesday at the latest! Please do not purchase if you cannot pay immediatly.

I will preveiw for a while first.Previewing will be available late Sat afternoon/evening..

I am excited to announce Our Nappies will be available at this years Pregnancy Babies and Children Expo this coming weekend !! Sydney siders be sure to head to the Nurture Nappies exhibit at the Sydney Pregnancy Babies and Children Expo being held at Rosehill Gardens, Rosehill Friday 15th -Sunday 17th May..I have a huge pile here,being finished off ready to go to the Sydney Expo!!

Welcome to my Blog... It's been a long time coming..

With so much constantly going on in life,i thought thiwould the best place to keep up with all things CGR..I will eventually add some pics of fav designs and whats coming soon etc..

I have 3 outta 4 littlies sick atm,and myself :( Miss G was off school today with high temps,headaches etc.She is sooo wanting to be better for Thursday as it there Mothers day stall,she loves these things..Baby Ryley & Super Cooper arn't much better neither have had good nights sleep in days (Which means no sleep for me either,last night i think i had 40 mins sleep) i soo hate when my poor bubbas are sick like this..

Those waiting on orders who were expecting them this week,i do apologise but they may be delayed by a week,as i just can't get anything done due to all this sickness, that surrounds us atm..

I'm also working on a HUGE amount of nappies.These need to be ready in a few weeks also ..What could this huge lot be for?? Stay tuned,i will add some pics of this gorgeous lot,all in good time :)
